It is based on the Swiss Data Protection Act (DSG) and, for visitors from the EU, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Hosting
This website is hosted by Infomaniak Network SA in Geneva. When a page is called up, the server automatically stores technical data: IP address, date and time, the page called up, browser and operating system. These data serve the security and operation of the website and are deleted after a short time. The transfer is encrypted via SSL.

Cookies
This website only sets the cookies that are technically needed for its operation and the shop. On your first visit, a banner shows which categories exist; you decide what you allow and can change your choice at any time via the cookie settings. Tracking by advertising networks takes place on this website if you explicitly allow it in the banner; by default it is off.

Contact
If you write by email or WhatsApp, Space of Light stores your message and your contact details in order to reply to you and, if a collaboration results, to handle it. These data remain stored as long as the contact exists, and longer only if the law requires retention. Appointments via Calendly
Calendly (Calendly LLC, USA) is used for conversations and retreat places. When you book an appointment, you enter your name, email address and the desired time with Calendly. Calendly processes these data on behalf of Space of Light; the EU standard contractual clauses apply to the transfer to the USA. You will find Calendly's privacy policy at calendly.com.

Personal Healing Journeys
What is discussed in a personal Healing Journey is recorded exclusively by hand on paper, never digitally, and is not digitised even on request. You can view the notes concerning you at any time; they are written by hand and in abbreviated form, and their legibility or interpretation is not owed. You may record your own session yourself if you wish; that recording belongs to you and rests with you alone.

Shop and payment
If you order in the shop of this website, Space of Light stores your name, address, email address and the order in order to fulfil it and to meet the statutory accounting requirements. Payment is handled via Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe Ltd., Ireland, and Stripe Inc., USA). Space of Light never sees your card details; they go directly to Stripe. For shipping the books, name, address and order go to the logistics partner Logistico, which stores and ships the books.

Books via Digistore24
Some of the books are sold via Digistore24 (Digistore24 GmbH, Germany). Digistore24 acts as the seller and is responsible for payment processing; Digistore24's privacy policy applies to these data. The same applies to shipping as in the shop: name, address and order go to Logistico.

Tales & Temptations via HeySummit
Tales & Temptations, the online format similar to an online retreat, runs via HeySummit (HeySummit Ltd., United Kingdom). For your ticket you enter your name and email address there; HeySummit sends you the access details and reminders. Zoom (Zoom Video Communications Inc., USA) is used for the live sessions. Both providers process the data on behalf of Space of Light; the transfer abroad is based on the EU standard contractual clauses.

Reading sample and automation via Make
When you sign up for the reading sample, you enter your first name and email address and agree that Space of Light may contact you by email later and inform you about its offers. These details and the data from orders via Digistore24 are processed via Make (make.com, Czech Republic). Make stores the sign-ups in a contact list and passes tickets on to HeySummit. Make processes these data on behalf of Space of Light. You can withdraw your consent at any time; an email to info@hellentiethoff.ch is sufficient.

Community via Heartbeat
The digital school and the community run via Heartbeat (Heartbeat Technologies Inc., USA). When you join the community, you enter your name and email address there, plus whatever you share yourself in your profile and in posts. Heartbeat processes these data on behalf of Space of Light; the EU standard contractual clauses apply to the transfer to the USA. You will find Heartbeat's privacy policy at heartbeat.chat.

Embedded content
Some pages embed videos from YouTube (Google Ireland Ltd.) and the Google Maps map. When this content loads, data such as your IP address are transferred to Google, and Google may set its own cookies. This content is only loaded once you have allowed it in the cookie banner.

YouTube channels, newsletter and social media
The YouTube channels and the Instagram, LinkedIn and TikTok profiles of Space of Light are services of the respective platform; their privacy policies apply to data you leave there. You only receive emails if you have agreed to this when requesting the reading sample or making a booking; every email contains an unsubscribe link.

Your rights
You have the right to information about the data stored about you, to correction, to deletion, to restriction of processing, to receive your data in a common format and to object to processing based on legitimate interest. You can withdraw consent at any time. To do so, write to info@hellentiethoff.ch. In Switzerland you can lodge a complaint with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), in the EU with the data protection authority of your country.

Retention and security
Data are stored as long as they are needed for the stated purpose or the law requires it; for invoices this is 10 years in Switzerland. The website and the mailboxes run at Infomaniak in Switzerland. Access to your data is held by Space of Light and, within the scope of their assignment, the service providers named above.

This policy is adjusted when the website or the law changes. The version shown here applies.
